To continue our success, we have Packing Machine Operator positions available at our Regency Park manufacturing facility on Weekend Night Shift.

This role is part of a team that is responsible for operating the packaging machinery within our manufacturing environment. This fast-paced role will allow you the opportunity to work on some highly automated machinery, so a mechanically-minded individual who can work within a team is the type of person we are looking for!

Weekend Night Shift Hours: Friday 10:30pm - Saturday 6:30am, Saturday 6:30pm - Sunday 6:30am, Sunday 6:30pm-10:30pm (8 hour shift, 12 hour shift and then a 4 hour shift)

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure that pre-operational equipment & process checks are completed and documented daily, and any issues identified are addressed prior to start-up
• Maintain and control the operation of metal detection systems within the production process, including initial calibration and routine checks during operation
• Ensure that packaging machinery is operating within specified parameters to ensure product is being packaged in line with Customer and Company quality and specifications
• Make adjustments to packaging machinery as and when required to minimise downtime and to ensure optimum output of product
• Participate in packing hall cleaning activities

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience with production machine operation an advantage
• Mechanically minded individual with an understanding or comprehension of automated equipment/machinery
• An understanding of HACCP and GMP, with strong attention to detail, safety, and reliability
• Previous exposure or experience working on Night Shift
• Excellent communication skills and a strong level of confidence
• Experience with SAP advantageous, but not mandatory
